They said that 1/3 of all Americans were listening to the Seabiscuit/War Admiral match race on the radio. I guess those were the days.

The footage of the match race is better than Secretariat's Belmont.

I know they're replaying it today 3:00pm, 8:00pm and 1:00am tomorrow on the WLIW-World channel.

If you don't get that channel, check your local listings here.

You can also watch it online: PBS:American Experience:Seabiscuit

Everything except the ending.

Watched a little of it here at work, but need to get back to work plus could not stand the interruptions of the buffering mode.

Ordered a copy to add to my ever growing horse racing DVD and Book collection.

Can not get enough.

LOL - that's a good "mate screen" date! Congrats!

I used to bring boyfriends to the barn, see if they would walk up to the horse, see what kind of face they made avoiding manure ...

This is a different thing; a PBS documentary. Not the movie with Jeff Bridges and Toby Maguire.

Oh, I take it back. That ending didn't suck.

Default Seabiscuit Movie DVD

Bumping this up because I just found the Seabiscuit 2-Disc Ultimate Gift Set at Bed, Bath & Beyond of all places. (This would be the 2003 movie with Jeff Bridges and Toby Maguire). Only $7.99!
