Default 11/25: Mig works Lloydobler

Talk about the modern age... Talked an hour ago with Rich Migliore who ended up working LLOYDOBLER 5f this morning at Belmont. Mig was listening to the 4-7am ATR replay on Sirius while driving from his Duchess County farm to Belmont, and heard me talking about our Smarty colt and his likely spin today. So Mig went to Barn 60 to see Gary and hop on Lloyd! You can't make this up...

He went in a smooth 1:02.0 while restrained early to allow a workmate to stay close. After a quarter mile , Mig gave up waiting for the work partner and let the handsome chestnut go. He said Lloydobler felt very good under him, and really finished strong once he was allowed to lower his head and level off. As always, Lloyd galloped out particularly well, with Richie suggesting he went the gallop out 1/8th past the wire as fast as his finishing 1/8th up to the wire. Mig also said he was impressed at how our 2 year old came back from the work, as he was ultra-professional and not at all hyped up from having drilled.

We're still 2 or 3 works from a start, but Mig will stick with him from this point.
