Default Chips Ahoy

Quite possibly the worst cookie ever made.

If you set out to make a terrible cookie, just get a hold of their recipe.

Everything about the cookie is bad. Even the chocolate chips they use are horrible.

Then they went ahead and did the impossible. They made it even worse. They invented the Chewy Chips Ahoy. Who in the right mind thought the only thing worng with the Chips Ahoy was its consistency?

I consumed an entire pack of Rolos at lunch today. Remember them? They aint too popular anymore but man I cant understand why. They are like miniature Milky Ways and more fun to eat!

So I was so hungry a few minutes and sugar crashing from my Rolo intake, I found an open box of chips ahoys in the office and just had to eat one. It was so bad. Its as if whoever invented them sought ought to make the worlds's worst cookie and succeeded admirably.

We just had an enormous Christmas buffet at work and I brought the greatest store bought cookies I've ever had from Trader Joes. I'm not a big fan of packaged cookies and usually bake my own, but I was short on time and these were really good!

I'll be doing triple duty at the gym tonight.

I got to go to the gym too. Where I am its getting very cold to run outside.
I wish we had a Trader Joes around here. Same too with Wholefoods. Man, I could spend a day in that place.

Doritos, I am not a fan of. I dont like crunchy chips in general because they hurt my teeth. Not crazy about that processed taste you get in a doritio.

Last night I baked homemade Tollhouse choc chip cookies and threw walnuts in. The key is not to overbake and not to flatten them prior to baking. After they cooled down a bit, I plated 2 cookies over a couple scoops of Ben & Jerrys Vanilla ice cream. Heaven on a plate.

I went to a wedding in Baltimore this summer and had an hour to kill before the reception, so I wandered into a Wholefoods and had so many samples, I didnt eat anything at the reception except the partaking I did at the "Make Your Own Sundae Bar", which was by far the best thing I have ever seen at any wedding. The quality of the ice cream was outstanding and the toppings were to die for. I love chocolate sprinkles, but dont care for the crunchy kind. I like the soft ones that melt in your mouth.

Best concert I have ever seen in my life was on St Patricks day in 1989, The Replacements at the Palace Theater in Albany, NY (very small auditorium). Paul Westerberg was so drunk he forgot the lyrics of many of the songs and had to start songs over at least 3-4 different times. But man, when they got going it was pretty amazing stuff. Drinking on stage, girls flashing their boobs, man what happened to Rock & Roll?
