![]() Pats are 7 point dogs to Houston and the Bengals are 9 point dogs to the Indomitable Jets.
Looks like both teams will probably be resting starters for at least the 2nd half instead of going full bore on the road for the 3 seed against teams that need a win. I see no upside at all for both teams subjecting themselves to tough road games against desperate teams. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if both teams felt more comfortable about facing Indy in the 2nd round as opposed to going all the way across country to play a fresh hot San Diego team in warm weather. The Jets will kill the Bengals bench warmers - and New England could get slaughtered with an undrafted rookie qb playing in place of Brady - and Moss and Welker being replaced by special teams journeyman Aiken and a 7th round rookie draft pick in Edellman who played QB at Kent State last year. Both teams really could get crushed. They would be foolish to risk anyone - as both teams are banged up enough as it is. |

![]() I would be more inclined to take the 9 with the Bengals than go with the Pats. I'm just thinking Belichek will play it safer than Marvin Lewis will (with Brady battling a couple of nagging injuries). And for some reason the Jets aren't able to run the ball effectivley then it will come down to the Sanchise in what they are calling for a bad weather game (not to mention a playoff spot on the line). Throw into the equation that they are still the Jets and I think I would opt to take the wood.

![]() The Bengals just lost Maliluga ... they have to be out of their mind if they go all-out.
It's one thing if its a home game - and you want to give the starters a half to play hard and give your crowd something worth seeing .. but the game means next to nothing. Why lose another productive player when you can have your guys fresh? |

![]() The Jets won the lottery this year, playing the giving up Colts this week and the giving up Bengals next week.

![]() There's no way in hell I'd lay more than 7 with the Jets. Hell, I'd take the Bengals on the money line after what happened with us against the Falcons.

![]() I see you guys winning 24-10 .. and the margin is probably just as likely to be wider as it is slimmer.
If I was coaching the Bengals you'd win 48-3 |

![]() You did have an awful strong showing in the last TVG Fantasy contest. Still, it sure has to hurt to lose to someone who calls themselve "Buttercup"

![]() Not going for the 3 seed sounds great until the year it actually comes down to 3 vs 4 in the Championship game and you are now on the road cause you decided your game in Week 17 didn't matter.
