Default Blackhawks Uniforms

Don't know if this has been brought up before, but WTF happened to those beautiful, classic ones they used to wear? I just flipped over to their game with the Wild and almost puked. I'm a Red Wing fan but I always appreciated the original NHL team uniforms and don't think they should f*ck with them at all!

It's from the Winter Classic at Wrigley..They only wear them once or twice a year. Still roll out the originals the rest of the time

You guys want to see as a good hockey game, put on the NHL network. The US and Canada are tied 3-3 at the end of the 2nd period. It's the Junior (I think under 18) championship. It's one of the best games I have ever see so far. Speed, Hitting scoring and so on and all for a gold medal. Put it on and you won't be dissapointed.

It seemed like a good idea as true sports fans understand that playoff hockey is by far the most exciting game of them all but Comcast chose to eliminate the game from my line up where I live. Another victim of the Direct TV/Comcast feud...The only losers are the fans.

Doc, I have watched hockey a long time and this is one of the best games I have ever seen. The US took a 4-2 lead fairly early in the 3rd. Canada stormed back with 2 goals in the last 4 minutes and they are heading to ot.

Just Amazing! (Gotta admit, not thrilled with the 4 on 4 overtime scenario to determine a championship.) But the good guys won!

I'll find a tape of the third period somewhere with the OT. I'm sure it's worth it...

NHL.com has the highlights up broken into periods. A couple of these goals are sick...

I know they unveiled new uniforms a week or two ago but I didn't see them.

Great game.......I didn't see this thread because I turned of my computer so I wouldn't be sidetracked by having to know what was on pick3king.com.........didn't want to miss any of the game.

matt you almost ruined this game for me

i had a hockey game last night so i had to dvr this game, avoided ALL sports pages and sites all day long (i'm addicted to tsn.ca), avoided every possible situation that i might find out the score from

i look into this harmless thread, and i'm like oh they're talking about the hawks, i'll give this a look see. Then you go OFF TOPIC and start talking about the game and i had to quikly hop out of the thread, AFTER seeing the 3-3 score you posted, and barely catching a look at your new avatar.

Just got home from work and watched the whole game, awesome, one of the best i've seen in a long time, but then again this happens EVERY time these two countries meet in the IIHF. Glad to see we gave those hosers up north a dose of their own medicine. The whole tourney they booed USA players and goalies when they played other teams, down right rude, and this has happened EVERY single time this tourney has been played in canada, F'm!!!

I'm so sorry. The last thing I wanted to do was ruin what was one of the best games that I have ever seen. Hopefully seeing 3-3 didn't ruin it too much. And you thought that the avatar was 20 guys in bad white suits running to a chocolate fountain buffet.
As far as avoiding all the media, I guess your lucky that these hockey championships/hockey in general must rank one notch over horse racing for getting positive press/coverage after major events.
Yeah, I thought that the Canadian fans were a bit tough on them too. I think everyone loses focus on the fact that these are just kids. It's amazing that the quality of hockey is so good from kids under 20. I was glad to see the US stick it right up their asses on their turf, but at the end the fans did show some class and applauded for the champs.
Once again I'm sorry BT and for rpncaine I'm sorry I hijacked your thread. I just don't like starting new ones for things that I think are going to get a couple of responses.
