Default Leno to Return to Tonight Show?

There are reports that NBC is considering dumping Conan O'Brien and reinstating Jay Leno as host of the Tonight Show.

Maybe you should kidnap O'Brien and take his place for a night.

That was a funny movie. As you probably guessed, King of Comedy was definitely one of my favorites.

I watch Jay some and you're right Rand, he's not funny at all and his show pretty much sucks. I'm not that big of a fan of Conan either, but I think his show is more tolerable than Jays. I like George Lopez tons better than both.

For the last several years, The Tonight Show (with Leno) was consistently beating Letterman. Now that Conan has taken over, The Tonight Show is consistently losing to Letterman by a couple of million viewers a night.

It doesn't really matter who you or I think is funnier between Jay and Conan. It matters who the millions of viewers think is funnier and the millions of viewers think Leno is funnier.

Putting a webcam on my ferrets would be a lot more fun and entertaining than those dunderheads on TV.

Letterman used to be funny, I guess, but man, he's like a broken down 8k claimer that had once run 4th in the derby.

I used to really like Letterman when he was on at 12:30pm. His off-beat kind of humor seemed better suited for the 12:30pm time slot. His sense of humor isn't quite mainstream enough for the 11:30 time slot. Since he switched to 11:30pm, I've never liked his show. I sort of feel the same way about Conan. I think he's better suited for the 12:30pm time slot.

This has EVERYTHING do to with the lead in to the late news - Conan has suffered because absolutely no one is watching NBC going into the 11:00 hour. I guarantee your local NBC news affiliate has been destroyed by this fiasco as well.

I personally don't think either are particularly entertaining. Leno got to live because he rode the ER / Will and Grace / Las Vegas coattails through the 2000's... He is an unfunny, unoriginal hack that is such a bore that he can't even hire entertaining writers. Conan is a cut above, which isn't saying much

I heard Leno at 11:30pm for a half hour then Conan and Fallon and Midnight and 1am. I think Leno is done even if he goes back to 11:30.

Jimmy Fallon is better than both of them. He's actually funny!

Can't say I find any of them all that entertaining. But I'd have to say Conan is particularly not funny. Maybe it's my age ... or maybe I'm distracted by his goofy f#cking haircut. Keep thinking he needs a frilly bow on his head.

WHAT????? Conan has, or used to have the best writers on tv...........And Conan is hilarious! Leno shouldve learned from the master, Johnny Carson, who left when he said he would, and never was seen again.....Hey Jay, take your chin and never be seen again

Conan issued a statement today. It's pretty clear he doesn't think much of Jay.

Jay Leno is the Don Imus of television. An unentertaining, vapid hack with no ability to command an audience, but somehow continually manages to find himself on the right side of NBC. With no audience. It's laughable.
