![]() Steve- I heard the last 2 callers on Tuesday's show call in to vent about the disgraceful dispute that's going on. I agree with them 1000% (I called in last week to bitch about the same thing). After Eric's call, I also heard you mention that you would reach out to someone from both sides. Hope you're serious about that and getting them on the air- especially would be great if you could get one of those Mid-Atlantic pricks. Even if you could get one of these managers from a participating track it would be nice. What's going on here is an utter disgrace and it's going to have a rippling effect on the sport. And the fact they're not even talking is the ultimate joke. Please do what you can to get these sons of bitches on the air.

![]() Steve, I second this. I'm sure they don't have the guts to come on the air with you, but I'd love to hear them on the radio and I'm sure many of us will call in to skewer them since they are so successful in avoiding talking to us.
Every morning I do an internet search to see if anything was resolved and I find nothing. If not for your show, I would get no information about the dispute at all. |

![]() I'm not sure there is any compelling radio to be had from this from the parties that are at loggerheads. There is little for the two negotiators in question (Marty Lieberman for Mid-Atlantic & Scott Daruty for TrackNet) to say on the air. They both have their respective positions that are equally understandable, and neither can 'negotiate' this publicly. As I've said, from my perspective, Mid-Atlantic is being unreasonable refusing to consider any kind of increase from the host tracks, and appear to penalizing their patrons.
I will reach out for updates from both sides though to see what progress, if any, has been made.

If only I had the power to end their monopoly here, then you'd see progress real fast. Instead it's like dealing with the DMV -- that's the level of customer service we are getting. |

![]() Agree that they are blockheads. Even if someone from one of the supporting tracks or the NJ Sports Authority would make for more compelling radio than listening to Haskin pick half a dozen horses to win each of the Derby preps this weekend.
By the way the back and forth you had with that caller last night around 6:30 was great. |
