Default SAT - Gulfstream (R5-R10); SA & GG Feature

Gulfstream Park POST SCRATCHES

R5 – MSW 45k (Turf)

#8 Forgive Me (Fr) – (BEST BET) Has been off over a year and half, but is in the right hands for U.S. debut. He took some money in his homeland and shows steady works since November ’09. Looks to me like he makes a big splash and I’m taking the plunge. (6-1 ML)

R6 – Dania Beach 100k (Turf 8F)

#4 Nordic Truce – Impressive in debut when he just exploded down the lane. Adds lasix and must prove he belongs with stakes company in 2nd start. WON
#7 Bim Bam – You take Jackson Bend from his running lines and he’s done nothing wrong. I expect him to be right there when it counts. 2ND
#13 SCR
#12 SCR
#2 Guys Reward - I really expected him to scratch if the race stayed on the turf and enter in Monday's race. Using.
#1 City Trooper - NY Breds picks a tough spot for turf debut. Can he transfer his current form?

Tri Key – 4 / 1 2 7 10 11 PAID $116
Tri P/W – 1 2 7 10 11 / 4 / 1 2 7 10 11

R7 – Clm 20k N3L

#5 Polished – Coming in off a win at CD on 11/25/09 and should have no problems handling the 9 panels. WON
#6 Cozzene’s Destiny – Has arguably faced better in NY/NJ and fits well here. 3RD
#9 Mogul Maker – Expecting better after dull comeback race at Calder.
#4 Comprise – Stretches out today after sprinting versus lesser. Underneath use only.

R8 – Marshua’s River 100k (Turf 8.5F)

#2 Belle Allure (Ire) – Ran well in all 4 starts in ’09 including a victory in most recent G3 Athenia at Belmont.
#13 Backstreet Rhythm – Former G1 winner finds herself in the Dutrow (Rick) barn which has them ready to fire off the bench.
#7 Romacaca – Had a banner year after being claimed by Calabrese and should be on the engine from the start. In addition, she’s 2 for 2 at GP and 3 for 4 at the distance. 3RD
#4 Bluegrass Princess – Has been freshened up by new barn and she’s versatile enough to make her presence felt in the final furlong.

R9 – Alw 48k N1X

#11 Todd Got Even – Zito turns him back to 6 furlongs and it could be key down the stretch. WON
#7 Broken Home – Took a while to make the races and delivered at 1st asking for Tagg.
#1 SCR
#6 Obligingly – Has been off for over a year after displaying some talent in his 2 dirt races. 2ND

R10 – Alw 51k N2X (Turf 9F)

#10 Pinckney Hill – Penna runners should never be taken lightly despite the layoff and this guy has shown talent since day 1. WON
#6 Thou Swell – Earn his highest BSF (90) in latest for new trainer J. Jerkens. He should be forwardly placed in a race that lacks pace setters. 3RD
#4 Picou – Has ran well off a break and should get a nice trip towards the inside. 2ND
#2 Sincero – Makes turf debut after running 4th a couple of weeks ago going a mile. The price is too juicy for me to ignore. 4TH

PK4 – 5 6 9 / 1 2 4 6 7 13 / 6 7 11 / 6 10 = $54 ($.50 play)

Santa Anita

R3 – G3 San Rafael

#3 Conveyance – Ultra impressive in two starts and should have it his own way on the front end. WON
#4 Lucky Rave (GB) – 3rd at 29-1 in G3 Generous and has the right style to complete the exacta.
#2 Domonation – 2nd to the highly touted Tiz Chrome in a Restricted Stakes and now stretches out for the 1st time.

Golden Gate

R8 – California Derby 100k

#3 Thomas Baines – Decent 3rd in most recent despite not being in the best of positions throughout the race. 3RD
#6 Shudacudawudya – Definitely has home course advantage and if he handles the two turns he wins. 4TH
#2 Connemara – Half to Lion Heart will draw plenty of attention at the windows, especially with R. Baze in the irons. Pletcher runner will have to beat me at low odds. 2ND

Good Racing Luck

Good Racing Luck

I'm not usually a big fan of Euros making their US debut.. especially ones coming off such a long layoff. Good luck, though. I hope he runs well for ya!

Connemara - 1/9 with 2 MTP - I figured odds on, but come on.

Awesome value on the 3 and 8.

Right idea, wrong horse
