Default rip capt phil harris

anyone who's a fan of 'deadliest catch' knows who capt phil is; he'd been dealing with not just his two young sons the last few years on his boat 'cornelia marie' but with health problems as well. he suffered a massive stroke in late january.

man I hope the other Capts take this 'to heart' and improve their lifestyles.

I guess when you risk your life many times a year for years and years the threat of heart disease or stroke doesn't enter the equation.

if I'm thinking of the right guy that Jonathon doesn't seem to stress much or get mad but I also bet he's smoking other stuff besides tobacco. I now know who phil was and know his boys were worried about him and on him to make changes.

I think Sig(sp?) needs to calm the hell down and stop smoking.

he did decide to quit smoking one time. i don't think he lasted an hour!

these guys aren't looking to die in their sleep of old age. smoking is the least of their worries i'd think.
