This is a better race than the GP Sprint Cap on Saturday.

I was very pleased to see the quote from Ian Wilkes about Warrior's Reward staying at one turn this year. I think he has the potential to be a very nice one-run sprinter.

Brother Keith has always had potential, Break Water Edison is now with Dutrow, and then there's everyone's favorite Shug plug Imperial Council.

It is a terrific race and I'm looking forward to it.

Would you like to know the 3 I plan on using in the pick 3's?

My evening would have a tremendous void if I didn't find out.

Well clearly Warriors Reward is the best horse, on top of that he figures to get the best trip and for once wont be odds on, I feel obligated to lean heavily on him. I plan on backing up with the 11 and 12. They both can come running late.. A scratch to one of a few horses changes the entire race, if the 4,9 scratch then the other one becomes deadly. Imperial Council ahh, I fell for him last year, he sucks I highly doubt he is even close to good enough, same thing with the 1. I would use the 3 over the 1 or 2. Not sure what to make of the 6, hes ok and might be a decent horse but I think the top few in here are really good.

Yup, I'm gonna definetly take into consideration your capping knowing you think Peyton Manning is horrible at his position.

I appreciate your money at the windows, really do.

You brought this on yourself

I agree it's a great race. But I also think it's a difficult one because you could make a case for many of them. There are too many possible scenarios that could happen for me to put money on it

All of the class horses in here are coming off long layoffs.
I think the Kimmel to Dutrow switch for BW Ed will be huge....Kimmel is the worst and there are not many better than Dutrow...That being said it looks like the trainer switch happened only a month ago and, BW Ed missed some works as a result.

VJ,

You remind me of a trainer switch scenario from the other day at GP that I've meant to bring up on ATR. That AE that got in Saturday -- Person of Interest -- was first time Dutrow and looked like he was OK. Turns out that the colt had only gotten to Dutrow 48 hours earlier. He and Michelle Nevin had no clue what to expect from the Tapit son and were very pleased when he ran a good 5th while wide throughout.

Also... This GP 8th is the DRF ROTD: Formulator PP's and DT ROTD Contest..

Warriors Reward seems to be the Hallmark of horses that find great races.
Get rid of 15k races and when the track is opened a lot more races would have this look. Even if it was a 40k claimer it would be ripe with real horse power.

I think Presto should handle these. So many have been laid up..It looks like a parade of fast laimo's.. Maybe a little Brady Baby who cuts back and perhaps Brother Keith who hinted he had some talent in July and needed the Dec race.. Of the laimos I like Warrior and the Ex Hough

I think Brady Baby passed up a really sweet spot this weekend in the turf race that Boots Ahead won. (he was scratched)
Being by Gone West and a trained by a guy with a turf foot...I thought that was a better spot for him.
As for Brother Keith, a lot of these would really have to throw a clunker for him to hit the board.

Brady Baby never raced on the turf. If it came off, he would have probably ran.

GG,

Agreed... I added him to the P4 play myself. Faces much less pressure now post-SCR's. (And He's So Chic is going to be overlooked and figures to sit a nice stalking trip outside... Added him to the play as well.)
