Join the fight if you like.A new proposal was unveiled today. With the huge budget deficit,it's looking pretty good to politicians this year

Would love to see this happen, way too many dollars flowing into Native American casinos, they need competition up there.

As far as racing goes,no way. They are counting all disciplines of the horse world, hunters, dressage, harness, etc, and all the industries that support it.Personally I think the other horse interests, like jumping and dressage are more popular than racing is in Minn..The big push for this is going to be new stadium money. The Vikings want a new stadium, and the politicians don't want to pay for it by raising or adding taxes,so this will be the main engine they will be using, and if Brett Favre comes back for another year,I think it will pass this time.

I think people are getting tired of the Indians getting all the money.People are starting to realize the huge monetary gain they can get from this for all, instead of lining the pockets of a few.The Indian gaming association lobbyists cries are falling on deaf ears this year.Politicians have empty coffers, and they need to fill them and not piss off the taxpayers.

Unfortunately, what will happen down the line is that the Indian gaming lobbyists will fill the politicians pockets with money and the Racino will be voted down again. Same sad story year after year after year.

Yes the owners of Canterbury Park are the few that will be lining their pockets.
