If Lookin at Lucky ran back in this race instead of the SA Derby, wouldn't he be an even money favorite here? With Noble's Promise finishing right with Lucky in the Rebel, Cashcall, and BC juvy (and moving up on dirt his first start off the long layoff, just like LAL) I can't see him not being the favorite come post time. |

![]() Those were way too many abbreviations in one post. Was PG1985 really saying Noble's Promise runs last? I'm no fan of the horse, but that is a pretty darn bold prediction.

![]() It's interesting that Noble's Promise has run better that Lookin at Lucky in each of their last 3 races. In fact, Looking at Lucky has gotten significantly better trips. Anything resembling comparable trips and Noble's Promise buries him. YET, Looking at Lucky is a popular choice as a Derby horse and Noble's Promise is predicted, by some, to finish last in the Arkansas Derby.
And some wonder why this game still remains CRUSHABLE. |

![]() well Nobel's Promise was going to run last. He'll beat a horse just to prove ...1985 wrong. I want Jon Court to win on Line of David.

![]() I wonder if the Animal Planet folks wished they were following them this time around what with Joe Talamo and Jon Court looking at being on their first Derby starters. It'd be a huge deal for Jon to finally have this experience after all the years he's put into the sport. You have to feel good for him.
