Default Hardest golf course I ever played

http://www.ballyhackgolfclub.com/

I played it on Thursday. The member that was in our group sold his business a few years ago for $78 million and had a patent he sold for $29 million. That's just stupid rich

TPC Tampa, the greens were like putting on glass.

oh wow Kev that course looks spectacular.

for me, it was easily the Grace Course at Saucon Valley Country Club (best CC out there! 54 holes of the worlds finest) that course is so hard. they play the senior open's and US womens opens on the Old Course.. though the Grace is much tougher. and weyhill is the prettiest course I've ever played (also at SVCC)

76 rating 155 slope?!?
that's even harder than Royal New Kent- 76.5 rating 147 slope!

edit: just realized that 155 is the highest slope possible, they don't assign any higher!

Whistling straits in Haven, WI (home of 2010 PGA Championship)

You can score great on one hole and be happy to pick up a 8 on the next, especially if the wind is blowing. God damn Pete Dye

OSU Scarlet 76.1 slope 142

Spyglass Hill beat me up worse than anyplace else. Not that any golf course couldn't do that to me, but I have to say that was the hardest I've played.

This one...the wind was blowing 30mph.
Each green was a different speed depending on the grain and elevation.
I don't mind fast greens as long as they are consistent.

Phil, I have played Royal New Kent on multiple occasions. That course is more visually intimidating than actually being difficult. If you hit the ball well there, you can score.

Ballyhack was just hard.

If I make it to Virginia sometime this summer we will get out there and whack it around. Played a tournament in 40-50 mph winds last Saturday, man I sucked out there. Had balls move on me twice while putting and called penalties on myself.

Ron, there is a kid that plays college golf down here that is from NY and plays Bethpage Black a lot. He says Ballyhack is definitely harder.
