Can Dr. G prescribe you a bit of Geritol to get through the Hollywood card, Steve?

its an interesting sequence

First glance I see two horses that should be ultra tough. Morey's horse in the 4th and Marty Jones's horse in the 6th (Hugs to All). Baze on both horses. It looks like he is on alot of live horses Friday.

3: All (1,2,3,4,5)
4: 7
5: 1,2,3,8,9
6: 4
7: 1,4,7
8: 1,4,5,9

Thoughts

In Race 3, I am not a fan at all of Get Funky or Quietly Mine, but given only five, I would be pretty pissed if I used 3 and not been out. Especially because of two singles that I think are very solid (R4 horse should be 3/5 and Marty Jones horses is gonna get pounded) I can use all in the first leg.

Race 5 is probably the separator leg. I think the 4 is a crow and I would rather have CSJ on a speed horse. Tyler's horse on the outside is the scary horse and my last exclude. 8 is a full brother to a bunch of horses that made over 150k, very hard to debut down the hill and the third finisher, while still a maiden, was almost bought but Ascanio declined 100k for the IL bred Uzziah. I think Lodi Red is gonna run a good race going back to the lawn. He was well regarded by McCarthy first out and his race was pretty good first out.

Race 6 all Tyler has to do is sit behind the Valdez for 2 furlongs and the race will be over.

Race 7 I am completely against the 2 for 23 on the lawn Jack's Wild, complete crow. The 1 has a couple good turf races down the hill and shouldn't be excluded at all. Tyler will be there at the wire with this horse. The 7 is the interesting horse of the field as he has a win over the course last year, and should get a good trip. Late include of the 4 after reading a clocker report saying his last work was lights out.....

Last race is the obvious cluster f...Both Bafferts have to be used as does the rail horse and the 5 who are taking the ultimate drop in racing.

Misguided thoughts:

Leg 1 - Get Funky looks to be the class in here, the 3 Best Mon will have first run and can manage the pace efficiently.... Could easily be an all button play as anyone in here could grab this, but almost always seems like chalk nails it so I'll play the chalk and a logical long shot

Leg 2 - Gotta spread here - not sold on the 7 giving 12+ lbs. to the 1A who moved up nicely around 2 turns last; Souvenir Slew needed the last loves the strip

Leg 3 - State bred MSW - need my biggest spread here - complete crapshoot. The 8 Papa Lev is an include as a steep price, troubled in a learning trip drawing the rail first out should move up and enjoy the stretch out; 3 Besame Suances -Vienna stats are sick in this spot and the horse is bred for the trip; 1 should get the soft pace he needs, the rail draw blows but can sit the trip under Garcia; 10 lone speed, Baze, must use

Leg 4 - Single on most tickets for sure

Leg 5 - tossing both favorites in favor of the 4 who puts up a 58.3 drill after being pulled up last, seem fine and the class; 6 Mike Smith back aboard this speedster who has struggled with trouble since his return from the 1.5 year layoff, gets his distance, trip, and jock and even if he is 80% of his former self can take 'em gate to wire 3rd off

Leg 6 - Should be all the 1 but really like the way the NY bred is coming in and getting the cutback

EDIT: oops - contest thread - my bad... Good Luck Everyone

Seems like Baffert never wants to give that trophy wife anything to bitch about. Should of known that 1st timer owned by her would be full of run like that.
