Default 6/18: Monmouth (6th-10th); Hollywood ($63k C/O)

Good day of racing at Belmont Thursday highlighted by the quality MSW 6th that featured a new up and comer for Juddmonte-Mott-Desormeaux in SILK ROUTE. Empire Maker daughter out of Grp. I placed Danzig mare Jibe motored late to best a well bred bunch of missies going 9f, and garnered an 86 Beyer in doing so. Looks to have nice upside for an outfit that treasures good potential dams. Great weekend on tap and will start at MTH with .50 P5 swing and HOL late night P6 carryover...

Steve, or anyone, - any insight on the two Bafferts in the 8th? One owned by himself and one Zayat. I see you're using both Steve.

Damn right I'm using both! I don't trust anything in that crazy race...

I think his NY bred might be the one that's more ready. Doesn't the Zayat have a big 'clearance sale' sign on him?

R/D,

The NY bred was the one... P6 pays a VERY robust $64,575 on $470k+ pool with only the tough-to-love Film Fortune ($27.80) in the 4th and not-so-obvious Syncobeat ($10.60) in the 5th.

$32k C/O at Belmont...
