A second question for Arlington Fans
duplicate...so since the space is taken-
Do you think Blagoevich is going to testify that AP gave money to previous politicians and he was just doing what they did? Last edited by chucklestheclown : 06-19-2010 at 07:54 AM. Reason: misspell |

The guy in his trial has nothing to do with AP.

No way. Blago had nothing to do with either the Edgar or Ryan Administrations and was probably in law school when Thompson was in. For him to testify to anything would be heresay. Maybe at sentencing he could say something? Edgar is at AP a lot and is a owner/breeder. Ryan (when he wasn't in the Fed) was at AP maybe once as far as I can remember. Mr. D. shut down AP and grew corn in a fight with a Rep. lead IL so I'm not sure anything is there. IMO Edgar is clean and Ryan sold driver's licenses and State contracts for a living. Now Thompson is a whole book on his own.

He planted corn to be taxed as an agricultural property. Yesterday AP had an outstanding crowd with beer sales flowing all day at $5.75 a beer iand equally expensive food being consumed in addition to the $8 admission fee paid. Today father's day will be even more crowded. So how is this track losing money? Levy must be fudging numbers somewhere although they do seem to have two managers per worker.

Go there on Thursdays. If it wasn't for the busloads of blue hairs brought in for free from the nursing homes to promote their "Pre-Death Thursday" senior specials, they'd have to count crickets to get an attendance figure. |
