Godolphin......again
This is becoming ridiculous now. How many more good horses do they want to ruin and retire?
Denman - one of the best looking horses I have ever seen, and one of the soundest according to ex trainer Peter Snowdon was transferred to the Godolphin ranks in England a few months ago. A freak of a horse who Darley tried to make into a miler when quite simply he didn't see out any further than seven furlongs. He would have been right at the top of the european sprinting ranks this year, no doubt. Instead, they gallop him into the ground, get him injured to the point of no return to racing. I'm sick of this! It's wrong. How can one organisation break so many good horses down each year, and wonder why each operation loses millions and millions every single year. Do they not see they are doing things wrong? How can an organisation as big as they are be so blind to the facts and figures. The good ol' big blue bin. They ruin horses and they ruin racing.

Since I've been the great defender, I'm going to be fair and flip the coin for a moment.
Rewilding was 6th Al Zir was 3rd Cavalryman 3rd Cutlass Bay 2nd These are four seriously good horses. Very disappointed. I'm not sure but think Frankie might have had the mount on all 4 (?). Just sayin... |
