Default Hey Oracle Say it aint so: Johnny V winless for 5 days!!!

"You won't EVER see Prado or Velazquez go 0-5 days, ever, never. It does not happen"- A quote from Oracle80

I watched in uncontrolled glee today as the great Johnny Velasquez proved his mortality and completed his fifth day of racing without a win. Thats right boys and girls...Johnny went 0-5 days.

Lets see if Oracle is a stand up guy and takes his medicine on this one.

Meanwhile, Garret Gomez had another multi win day strengthening his hold on the second spot behind prado.

Well if Henny Hughes doesn't win tomorrow then I will jump on the anti-JV boat. I can't see that horse being beaten under any circumstances.

The way hes riding, he can be beaten. Its going to take a perfect break from the gate and some suave moves to get this guy home first going 7F. Hes never won at a distance other than 6F.

No anti-JV boat here. JV is an excellent rider and in my opinion one of the very best in the country. My point is that he is human...just like Garrett Gomez and Oracle80 kept railing on about how bad Gomez was because he went winless for five days.

I do think its worse in the case of JV. He rides first call for the most successful trainer in the country and he is an established NY guy that gets the pick of the litter. He is simply going through a slump.

No way. This horse wins in a walk. So will Bernardini. These horses coming from Dubai are winning with ease.

Gomez is excellent. If JV was a 100, Gomez would be a 95.

Because Santos got the first ride when Pletcher got the horse. I think JV was down in FLA as Fleet Indian's first start was on the BIG A inner. She hasnt lost with the current jock so why replace him?

Henny won't have any problem going 7 furlongs. He almost won the BC Juvenille which is 1 1/16 miles and that was after setting suicide fractions. I will be extremely surprised if Henny gets beat tomorrow. He would have definitely been better off drawing an outside post, but it's not going to matter. He'll be able to handle the inside draw. I remeber his debut race at Monmouth. He broke slow and then he was trapped behind horses going down the backstretch. He went outside at about the 3/8 pole and ended up winning by 6 lengths.

Gosh, it must be easy to get rich at this game when you know that horses cannot be beaten.

There is "no way" Henny Hughes will lose, yet at Pinnacle you can put up $171 to win $100, and all Henny has to do is finish ahead of Songster. I guess betting on Henny at Pinnacle or at the track is like taking money from a baby.

Sorry, but these flat out "no way"s drive me nuts, as if you couldn't tell. ;>) Henny looks like the best horse in the race by a good bit, but if I could find 2-1 on the field, I'd take it big time.

Yes, I agree with you. After speding a little bit of time going over the field, Henny is my pick to win but he's not a lock. This is actually a very strong field. This is the strongest King's Bishop in a long time. I certainly would not take anything less than even-money on Henny. There are some good horses in this race.

1) The number of bad rides hes given during the last 4 days has been none, he simply hasn't ridden that many horses and has not given one bad ride that you can name. Which is completely different than rides like the one Gomez gave Milwaukee.

2) I have a hard time answering your posts knowing that you are a terrorist sympathizer. Above all things I am a proud US citizen, and I hate terrorists and all that sympathize with them. Were I to meet you, I would hurt you and very badly at that. I would have no remorse about hurting you badly, even setting you on fire and watching you burn.
