Finally as many have been doing for years we will all be asked to vote twice for the same office because of the 'still poluted Obama Senate Seat"
Voting Twice Illinois voters in November will indeed vote twice for that one elected office. The double voting, prompted by a judge’s ruling last week, is the result of a lawsuit filed after no special election was held to fill the seat after Obama left it. The voters will pick a replacement for the remaining two months of Obama’s original term and someone to begin a six-year term in January 2011. As you know sir, people have been voting twice (or more) for the same office in this city for a long time!
Although, I think this probably will be the first time it has been legal. I'm probably going to vote for the Green Party candidate in this race (assuming there is one). I rarely do that, but Giannoulias.....eh.....
