Bug Juice returns after a powerful 7L win in the 6F Aspirant S.(FLx) on 9/6. Also coming back off that race is the 2nd place finisher Pin Number who had a slow start but finished strong. The Aspirant post time fav Hysterical Cat weakened that day to finish 3rd. Off a lackluster 5th in the Aspirant , Gold Eagle hopes the refurbished surface (track was closed 9/15,9/16 for maintenance) is more to his liking .
Eminent Tale goes to 6F off his 5.5F debut win at the Spa in his 2nd career start . Maidens D'Sauvage and Suave Fox round out the field . This 6F restricted stakes for NY breds has been run annually since 1963 . Winners have included Say Florida Sandy 1996, 2005 stakes record holder Classic Pack, 1:09.85 and trained by 4 time NYBF winner Ramon Hernandez, and Ibboyee 2009 . Tomorrow: Some clouds with some scattered showers possible in the afternoon. High 57F. Winds NNW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 30% FLx replays scroll down : http://fingerlakesracetrack.com/new-...se-racing.aspx

"A second stakes score gives Bug Juice three wins and a third from four career starts and earnings of $280,740...Bug Juice has gone once through the auction ring, selling to Neal Galvin as a weanling at the 2008 New York Fall Mixed sale for $2,700." http://www.nybreds.com/news/2010/10/...ders-futurity/

I saw the first comment before you edited.
I've been to Finger Lakes, and I was the only one WITH teeth. |

Two year olds that get 91 BSF's are usually pretty good. I hope they don't get some big idea to make him a "classic" colt. He's a nice looking NYB sprinter though.
