Default SAT - Hawthorne & Oak Tree @ HOL PK4 Action

Hawthorne - PK4 carryover (16k) to the late PK4 POST SCRATCHES - FAST / FIRM

R6 – OC 30k / N2X (Turf 8.5F)

#7 Approvedbythemint (6-1) – Hoping stablemate can set it up for him.
#9 Mr. Mischief (9-2) – Consistent runner fits well with these.
#1 Harlequin Sky (6-1) – Should be more effective on the lawn and at this distance. 3RD
#10 Drivingmaxandmitzi (12-1) – Old guy is undefeated on the HAW turf (5-5). 2ND

R7 – Clm 5k N3L

#8 Landing Chaser (20-1) – (Live Longshot) Just needs a similar performance to his maiden score at HAW this spring. 2ND @ 13-1
#3 Satellite Trick (6-1) – Like him right back after winning at 7 furlongs across town.
#1 Class Ready (8-5) – In new barn after back to back wins at AP. Slow works at HAW.
#10 Crap Shoot (12-1) – Should show speed and knows this surface.

R8 – G2 Hawthorne Gold Cup

#7 Temple City (5-2) – (Singleton) Looks to translate good synthetic form to dirt. Preferably sits right off the speed.
#8 Going Ballistic (15-1) – He’ll do his best work late on the long HAW stretch. 4TH
#1 Redding Colliery (8-5) – Will have to avoid dueling early if he wants to stick around at the end. WON $5.00
#5 Arcodoro (20-1) – Beat Penn Derby winner (Morning Line) two back, but he’s another one that will show speed.

R9 – G3 Carey Memorial Handicap (Turf 8F)

#5 Tybalt (6-1) – Stalking trip a plus for his chances. 2ND
#4 Tawaared (10-1) – Really woke up on the AP lawn this summer as he steps up. 4TH
#3 Wise River (7-2) – Does his best work on firm going.
#9 Vanquisher (4-1) – Well traveled and he’s in good form.

PK4 – 1 7 9 10 / 1 3 8 10 / 7 / 3 4 5 9 = $64

Oak Tree @ Hollywood

R6 – G1 Norfolk

#5 Acafella (5-2) – Proved two turns is not a problem in stakes win at GG.
#1 J P’s Gusto (7-5) – Strong performance in dominating G1 victory at Del Mar as he attempts his initial try at two turns. 2ND
#7 Jaycito (3-1) – Dangerous as he is bred for route racing and delivered a nice kick in last. WON $8.40
#3 Boxeur des Rues (6-1) – Reddam and O’Neill know how to get one ready for U.S. debut.

R7 – G1 Lady’s Secret

#5 Zenyatta (1-5) – Has enough targets to make it 19 in a row as she heads to Louisville. WON $2.20
#6 Emmy Darling (20-1) – Never underestimate the power of the 1st time in O’Neill barn.
#1 Switch (6-1)- Looks to sit off the pace and catch a minor piece. 2ND
#3 SCR

R8 – G1 Yellow Ribbon (Turf 10F)

#3 Gypsy’s Warning (SAf) (5-2) – Looking for her to take a step forward off her 3rd in G1 Beverly D at AP. 3RD
#9 Hibaayeb (GB) (3-1) – Goldophin runner makes U.S. after up and down Euro form. WON $8.60
#4 Go Forth North (12-1) – Could add some spice to the Tri & Super.
#7 Sweet and Flawless (20-1) – Minor award seems likely with her closing style. 4TH

R9 – G1 Goodwood

#7 Richard’s Kid (7-2) – Two time Pacific Classic winner might be overlooked a bit. WON $18.60
#4 Crowded House (GB) (6-1) – Proved that he fit with this type of company when 2nd in Pacific Classic.
#5 Twirling Candy (9-5) – Too short of a price for runner making 1st G1 start at the classic distance. 4TH
#3 Dakota Phone (6-1) – Knows how to sit back and make one run turning for home. 3RD

R10 – Clm 32k (Turf 8.5F)

#4 Mr. Katz (6-1) – Talamo has done well with this runner around this level.
#7 When We Met (5-2) – 1st time in Mitchell barn usually means picture time. 2ND
#3 Silent Soul (3-1) – Has handle some of these in last two wins. 3RD
#6 Yodelen Dan (5-1) – Worth a look as he shortens up and takes a drop. WON $8.00

PK4 – 5 6 / 3 4 9 / 4 5 7 / 3 4 6 7 = $36 ($.50 play) PAID $106.35 FOR .50

Good Racing Luck
