Crown of Thorns would have been better suited to run in the Ancient Title than the Goodwood

I do like Quinonez but it sucks just a little bit not seeing Tylers name there.
Not my pick, haven't seen pp's yet or anything. I do like this horse though. |

If Dancing in Silks can't win this he should be retired. Pretty sad Sidney's Candy's trainer is running him in Zenyatta-like races. IMO.

Why? He ran well in the Goodwood.

Regardless of what Sidney's Candy may do to this field that would barely pass for an allowance NW3x a few years ago, I'm almost certain he will be up the track in the BC Mile.
These run-off types (see Special Ring, Silent Name) that look monstrous in sparse fields tend to come back down to earth against large, deep fields. |

Craig selling would seem to indicate an offer too good to refuse.

How has Smiling Tiger nearly completely escaped notice all season? He hasn't been off the board in his career and seems like an ideal candidate making the synth/dirt move for the Sprint. Jeff Bonde was on ATR yesterday and said he's bring the 3yo, (historically a potent BC Sprint angle), into Churchill 2 weeks out. With the race seemingly 'wide open' post Majesticperfection/Discreetly Mine defections, I'm eager to see how this rather common colt, (By Hold That Tiger and purchased in the Washington State Fall Yearling Sale), trains and is priced. Feels like he's coming into this on the typical 'soph in the sprint' (Cajun Beat/Thunderello/Squirtle Squirt/etc.) arc..

Hey Byk, any word on the sale of Sydney's Candy?
I haven't seen a word about it since it was first announced in the form of a scratch. |

Godolphin is buying him. What mounts did Baze have in the BC last year?
