![]() 350K votes are you kidding me? Election results should be held back until every last soilder who wants to vote is given a chance to vote. Imagine the uproar if another group was denied their vote, say the folks in public housing?
BTW IMO this is far more serious than food-stamps for soda. lol http://www.nydailynews.com/ny_local/...e_ballots.html

![]() They must have gotten bored with screwing everyone that lives here! Does anyone still believe any Govt., State or Federal, is competent enough to run anything?

![]() They're delayed. They have at least 13 days after the election to count them. There is no proof anyone was trying to keep them from voting. That's just not present here. It sells well, but it's not here. They should hurry up, bit is there actual proof they weren't gunna be able to vote? Wouldn't they have gotten them a week or two before the election? It's late, yes. I see little proof of the armed forces (as a whole) doing their own jobs well. It's not like they're bringing it to the house, either.

![]() I wonder if anyone has ever done a survey of what percentage of people in the Armed Forces vote, and if they ever voted before they enlisted?

![]() So what are you saying, that elections should be run by private corporations?

![]() Nope. Just don't be too surprised when the simplest things prove too complicated for the Govt. to handle. New York is a mess.

So, it's not about competence. It's about the fact that their performance has very little chance of making themselves more (or less) money. That results in their work being very honest (in it's results,) but rather slow in coming. Last edited by SCUDSBROTHER : 10-14-2010 at 05:15 PM. |
