Gomez is in the right IMO. Stream of Gold should be on a farm, not running 7th in dime claimers.

I kinda agree.
There are a ton that run everyday that need to be retired.
If Gomez didn't feel comfortable on the horse he did the right thing after all, he is the one putting his life on the line.
I know that Mike Maker would never run anything that he felt didn't 100% sure was sound enough to race.
He's had 1 horse break down during a race in the last 4 years and, that entails a lot of starters.
