I wasn't going to post this because I know it would send BB into ellipses overload...but what the heck.

Ironic that the only mainstream anchor doing his job these days is a former ESPN sports reporter. I love this guy.

Rupert,
You are certainly entitled to your views, as am I.
Please don't characterize me as "brainwashed".
That is equally as repugnant as being characterized as an "appeaser" regarding the rise of Hitler. Paint your picture anyway you want and believe whatever suits you. Just don't paint me.
I don't buy the "big lie". If that is "nonsense" to you, fine with me.
Maybe if some had spoken "truth" prior to Hitler's rise to power, Germany would not have found the way to the circumstances that caused defeat.
The United Stated currently finds itself in a similar situation, not because of the things I have said or done, but because of the policies of the administration that uses the same words to denigrate those that disagree with their policies.
If you think current US policies regarding Iraq are successful, please explain.
Please also spare the ridicule.
Thank you,
DTS

Rupe ... Keith Olbermann is the country's biggest laughingstock ...

... not only is his show the lowest rated prime-time program in the history of television ... (he has about six viewers ... including his family) ... but ...

... even the wackiest moonbat leftists are racing away from him.

Of course ... he does have appeal to some of the sickos here ... but ... that's more of a commentary on their utter lack of sophistication and judgment ... than on anything else.

LOL. It's hilarious to hear this BB fool defend the 3 Stooges -- Cheney, Rove and Libby -- in this. But that is what fools do (in addition to spending time with an online thesaurus).

It's clear, at the very sordid least, Libby, Rove and Cheney outed Plame to Miller and Cooper. That is known, notwithstanding the poor work by the Washington Post.

It's absurd to say these guys are not complicit. Just look at their records....

Cheney: Shoots friend in head during drunken "fish in a barrel" shoot.
Libby: Indicted for perjury. Why? He perjured himself, that's why!
Rove: This clown bugged his own office and accused his political opponents of the crime he committed. Next time, he'll blame the dog.

Hopefully, the GOP will put up someone decent, respectable and electable for 2008. So far, McCain (3,000 years old), Guiliani (screwing his girlfriend in Gracie Mansion while still married?) and Allen (slur-hurling fool) have worked their way to the top of the list but have no chance. By default, right now, it's Romney.

They're gonna get smoked. Not that it's a good thing but right now, that's the way it looks.

Romney by default? i don't think so. Even though he's old i still think its McCain by default. he'll be the slightly less exciting version of Bob Dole.

However, there is hope. Just when you look around and see no decent candidates from your side, you're immediately heartened by looking at the other side and seeing an even more hideous collection of zombies.

well, guliani will fight right in at the white house than, won't he?? lol certainly clinton-ites can't attack him for that.

mccain isn't too old, not in this day and age.

but yeah, just when you think how rotten on one side, the other side shows it's a general malaise....

i personally am tired of having to choose the lesser of two evils...no matter which way you vote, it's still evil.

not going to read it.

i get my news from many and varied sites, not just one, and not from a place saying they're 'progressive'.....that's as amusing as fox saying they're 'fair and balanced'. just cause you say you are something, doesn't mean you are! besides, i like to consider all arguments...nothing is black and white, it's mostly grey. so if you only get things from one point of view, you're missing a good bit!

Danzig,
I agree that things are mostly grey.
Believe it or not, I also gain insight from a variety of sources.
Heck, I've even spent time at the townhall.com site.

Man, are you right. My hand sure twitched when I voted for Prez last time as I'm sure others' did. Like Lewis Black said, "WTF am I supposed to do when my choices are two bowls of sh1t?"

i feel like putting a bag over my head when approaching the voting booth in a presidential election. It goes without saying that noseplugs are also very handy.

it is a disgrace what the two parties have become...answerable to those who hold the purse strings, such as soros....and that's why lieberman lost in the primary.
it's not enough to speak to the voters...ol joe didn't toe the party line, so the party line turned on him, and funded his opponent.

Ok Danzig,
Point taken.
Here's something that has nothing to do with common dreams, in fact, it was published in the "heartland" of the US.

With all due respect DTS, your latest excerpt comes from the toledoblade. Now, in all fairness, is it not obvious that this publication would have just a small agenda? I mean, it is the blade. Not to say that the information is not accurate but your sources are easily questionable.

Surely there is a more universally accepted publication from which to garner the necessary ammo to support your points.

Again, no disrespecct.
