Gulfstream Park POST SCRATCHES - FAST/FIRM


R6 – MSW 48k (Horseplayers have the luxury of watching for any unusual tote action on the 1sters)

#8 Joe Vann (4-1) – Returns with the blinkers off after burning some money in NY. Experience edge.
#1 Best Act (4-1) – Decent enough debut to expect improvement here.
#12 Domination (12-1) – The stretchout after two sprints might wake him up in a big way.
#5 Point of Entry – Phipps 1ster working quick in the mornings for Shug. 4TH

R7 – Spectacular Bid 100k

#5 Leave of Absence (5-2) – Ultra impressive in fast maiden score at Aqueduct. 2ND
#8 Cane Garden Bay (8-1) – Dangerous on the cut back angle. 3RD
#6 Gangsterontherun (3-1) – Comes in fresh and is burning up this strip in the mornings. 4TH
#1 Winchill (6-1) – Tough post and should be only considered underneath.

R8 – OC 80k/N3X (Turf 8F)

#4 Guys Reward (7-2) – Finished the year strong and is a huge off the pace threat here. 3RD
#1 Sleepless Knight (4-1) – Lightly raced 5yr old has displayed some talent and should benefit from the inside draw. WON $8.40
#10 Asphalt (10-1) – Faced tough competition in 2010 and handled elders in his latest at CD.
#9 Just Playin Around (12-1) – Longshot looking for a theft attempt on the front end. 4TH

R9 – G3 Hal’s Hope

#3 Morning Line (8-5) – I don’t necessarily think he needs the lead to show his best. Big effort in BC Dirt Mile. 3RD
#2 Rule (2-1) – Off since the Florida Derby (2010) where he showed some serious grit and has been training well recently. 2ND
#5 Soaring Empire (4-1) – Serious off the pace threat and hopes the inside 3 burn each other out. WON $6.00
#7 Caixa Electronica (12-1) – Similar running style to #5 and is not out of the question.

R10 – Clm 30k N3L (Turf 7.5F)

#6 Bear’s Rocket (6-1) – Consistent runner for Motion was a decent 4th to Grand Cash in last and he dead heating on Thurs in a Clm 50k race.
#2 Cozy Lion (7-2) – Fits well and is one of two with a win on this course. WON $8.20
#8 Summer Upcountry (8-1) – Should be forwardly placed and has shown an affinity for the lawn.
#10 SCR

Congrats, I caught it myself after I was knocked out of the PK4 in the 1st leg.
