![]() went out with class, genuine show of emotion, and what a final heartfelt speech to the US Open crowd.

![]() he spoke well, from the heart. i'm sure he touched a lot of people when he said his good-byes.
it was fun watching him grow and mature, turning into an all-time great--esp after frustrating so many who knew he had talent, but just blew it off early on. but i guess he knew what he was doing, he didn't suffer the burnout so many others do. he certainly did it his way! i'll miss him. he was always fun to watch, always very exciting. in the record books for most hard court wins, and the only guy to win the grand slam on four surfaces, and one of five to win a career grand slam. thanks andre!!!!

![]() Would have liked to seen him go a bot farther and lose to someone like Nadal or Federer, but it is what it is. His back has been bothering him for a long time and times up. What a great champion and this officially marks the end of US men's tennis until somebody a little more creative and original than Andy Roddick comes along.
We'll miss you Andre. With that, lets keep our fingers crossed for a Nadal - Federer final. |

![]() We must also remember the young fart of an Agassi. I hated the guy early on. So much talent and he was a little fart. But the turn around and maturity the guy showed was amazing. Honestly the guy just learned to love a game that is very difficult to play at a high level for long periods. I thought for sure he was a burnout and he proved me totally wrong thank God. He will go down as a top 5 US tennis player. I just wish he did not have the muscle and back problems so he really could have played at his true level which is among the top 10 in the world when healthy.
