That's why Boehner didn't say crap at his "announcement press conference" this past hour. He just high-tailed it out of there and left the press hanging.

If you want to call those wins, please, by all means continue to think that I do think you are the only Tea Party person in the country who thinks Boehner did a good job. Then go read Ezra Kleins article in the Washington Post, and get back to me about Boehner "winning".

Progressives aren't happy. Sure as hell doesn't feel like a "win" to me.

It was alot of effing superficial theatrics that didn't do squat to address our income, or the budget deficit. We've done nothing but give away our income over the past 10 years, as if it didn't matter, with no thought to the future, and made ourselves broke. The first honest politican to say, "Let's rescind the damn expensive unfunded Bush tax cuts, the thing that caused a huge portion of our deficit, and cut the deficit in half without doing anything else within 10 years" wins my vote.

an honest politician. lol
reminds of me the story of diogenes with his lamp, walking about in daytime with it lit. when people asked why, he'd reply he was searching for an honest man. i've never read that he found one. i don't imagine the search for an honest politician would end any better. honest politician. that's got to qualify as an oxymoron.
