#7 Old Man River looks interesting also at 6:1 - might be a good pace play.

To be honest I have never even heard of this horse. Who is he and why is he 6/1 ML? He must have done something to command that kind of respect.

ran in the Swaps last year against Surf Cat and got drilled (so did everyone else in that race).. ran in a few stakes up north and just won an optional claimer coming well off the pace. I personally think he will be closer to 10-1 and will be a good "underneath" horse. Hard to get around the top two here, and who knows if Jet West is back.. when he was right, he was fast. Those three will take the majority of the money.

Thanks Titan. Looks like people on this board are still stuck in the polytrack debate. Sad, what an absolute bore to talk about. Later and good luck with the races today if you bet.

Good for you, keep it going. Somebody is actually following the racing today? What a concept!

I just read that Clinton Potts is now riding Captain Squire and John Court rides Prime Timber.

Something must have happened to Solis.

Solis went down hard right out of the gate on Monday in the 9th race. Don't know if it was serious, but enough to keep him off his mounts today.

I was watching the race.. Horse went to his knees when the gates sprung and he went over the front of him.. Didn't look like the horse stepped on him (luckily).. but the fall itself could have taken its toll. Figure taking off today, he get's 2+ weeks of rest before Oak Tree.

No the reason we didnt talk about this race is there is a very peculiar infatuation with the Polytrack surface and P Val's mental issues on this board. They have to be the 2 most tired subjects in the history of horse racing. Man, this place use to be about talking races. Sigh.

Come on Tim,
When you first mentioned this race and asked who I liked, I told you.
I said Areyoutalkintome. Don't make me go looking for the thread.
Paid $7.60.
Not great but better than a ticket on the floor.
btw, I'm not going to talk about polytrack anymore, nor Pval, though I hope he rides the fur off a few if he's allowed to make a living again. He's had his demons, so do we all.
Belmont, Belmont, Belmont!!!!!!! Let's get serious about racing again.

I have my demons too, but we dont see 5 threads about it every time I get in some kind of trouble. P Val is old and tired. Lets move on. Belmont on Friday.

I know Captain Squire didn't win (lost by a head), but I really like this horse. He is always game. I always use him in my exotics, although I didn't play today.
