I saw it. It's bad. I can see him running on to check if his own son was hurt, but nt to plow over a kid who made a mistake.

I read he got arrested for felony child abuse.

I agree....they're looking for a paycheck....and the kid was a little punk. Not making excuses for what the coach did, but that punk*ss late hit is what caused the whole thing...coach never should have done what he did though.

sure did, they showed his mug shot on tv this am

i agree, it was very wrong. but now that i know the kid is ok, i could laugh without a guilty conciensce (spell check me).

parents just get WAY TOO wrapped up in their kids sports. they live vicarosoly (spell check me again) thru their kids. just let em play. the kid who got knocked down will have to live with this in school every day. he should have got up and clocked him back in my opinion.

their is more to this I bet. Trust me, parents are nuts but I have a feeling that kid was picking on the other kid the whole time. you see the size difference in the two kids, the kid that late hit the other kid was like 6 inches taller then the other one, and the hit was unnecessary also.

I don't condone what he did, but if I was the kid's parents that got late hit, I would be yelling up a storm for a flag at least

When I was in high school I used to umpire Little League games to make a few dollars. It was insane the things parents said and did. These were 11 and 12 year old kids and while it's ok to play to win, they are just kids.

I remember one game especially. The pitcher for one of the teams was obviously gifted (not to mention about 6'0" and 180 pounds). This kid was a 2nd round draft choice of the NY Rangers and played a couple seasons in the NHL. His Mother stood behind the backstop and taunted the opposing players and me for two innings. After three nice conversations, I ejected her from the field.

After the game the kid's mother AND father come at me in the parking lot. MF this and MF that. The father took a swing at me and I did what I had to do.

It's just a game and they're just kids.

Some people.

That little ****-er deserved it. He should have hit him harder. That'll teach that idiot. Have to respect the game.

The guy should have just whipped the other kid's father's ass in front of the offending kid.

And made his daddy tell him that is what happens when you act like a c u nt.

I hate people.....

in general

Stud: Umpired myself back in the day! Did the kids all the way to high school. They wanted me to do college, but it was too much travel with a family! Really gave me a new appreciation for Baseball though.....
