From the 8th race yesterday at Keeneland. I need some help with this one, not really sure what to make of his race. The soft turf definitely does not help in trying to figure out whether or not he was hopelessly trapped on the rail behind horses the entire stretch, or simply hopeless in the race. He certainly seemed competitive on paper with that field.

I liked him too. Garcia never really asked, even when it looked like there was some room late. 'Ridden along' might be the best description. May not have liked the soft as his previous tries on anything but firm going have been some of his lesser efforts. Plus, first time on KEE course, and it's a different kind of footing. Garcia, or the horse, was tentative.

Back in Friday's 4th at Belmont, Garcia remains on.
