Default Time between races

Why cant NYRA speed things up a bit like Monmouth does.

For instance tomorrrow, Monmouth starts at 12:50 and their 9th race goes off at 4:31.

Belmont starts at 1:00 and their 9th race goes off at 5:10.

Monmouth has appx 25 min between races as opposed to 30 min for Belmont.

Why?

I need 1 hour between all races so I quit betting so many damn races...

You know your sick when you plan your work day and appts around times certain races go off at. I need serious counseling. And so do you Kev. We should look in to a 2 for 1 special. Heck, Oracle can join us and we can make it 3 for 1. Take that money we save and bet it to win on Little Orphan Lucy tomorrow.

Tim,
I have no clue.
Just guessing that the jockeys' bathroom might be a bit further away.
Maybe they want to allow more time to get a snack or a beverage.
Might be they want to pis s off people that have ADD (attention deficit disorder).
Why?
This thread could get philoshophical.
I don't know.

I like the last 3 at Belmont tomorrow. 7th and 9th are wide open turf races where they take turns beating each other, and the 8th gives you a short priced single Latent Heat, that I am not trying to beat. I'll use 2 in the 7th, Latent Heat, and 2 in the 9th.

$20 pick 3 would cost $80.

30 minutes, 45 minutes. Don't mattter how long. All I know is if I get in line with 5 mtp, I'm behind the guy who starts looking at the race when he's up. If I had a dollar for every time I heard, "Gimmeda, Gimmeda, Gimmeda," I'd be a rich sob.

TIMMY.....check out the 1st race on Sat. at Belmont.....

EVER A FRIEND....on the turf, stretching out....Nakatani is up. Should be a square price...Outperformance should take his fair share of action in this race.

Easy answer- $$$$$$$. The more time between races, the more money that gets bet per race...

Tim Saratoga used to be the worst when they had post time at 1:30.It would drag on forever.I guess it takes time to bring the horses in from the barn, for the valets to clean the jockeys tack and put the lead in the saddle.Who knows why.Just think on Derby day they have minimum of 45 minutes in between races.

Its the same thing at the tote machines. Some older fella with thick glasses playing a .10 superfecta is punching holes in the machine and then clears it and starts over, and over, and Im about to pee in my pants. Jeezusssssss.

Sir, may I help you get those numbers in FOR GODS SAKE IN HEAVEN HURRY UP THE RACE IS GOING OFF!

I have located a machine that is very particular so no one uses it. A God send.

My OTB offers a hand held betting device....never have to leave your seat. If I know it's gonna be a crowded day....Its the only way I roll.

You give them your Drivers License and $5 and you get them both back when you turn the machine back in at the end of the day.

I enjoy summer in Ontario and compared to Florida it is Horserace Heaven and it is also not too far to visit other major tracksback in USA.( Saratoga and Arlington have been my choices)

The whole track is set up for wireless so you can use your own laptop or handheld or borrow one from the track and bet anywhere. They also carry most racetracks and you can also bet them simultaneously and now with net pool wagering one gets the US track odds.

Most of their satellite facilities are set up in the same way.

No IRS is nice too if one is looking for high reward payoffs.
