![]() Since the '60's have always hated OSU and Notre Dame.
But I think its a crime for this coach(and some others) to be held to a higher standard than their bosses. WTF?....Some silly-ass players get a tattoo...BFD I know the OSU hater will come outta the walls but I think it was CS for them not to stand by him |

Thanks for reminding me you aren't his creator. I get that confused sometimes. |

![]() There was a bit more to it than tattoos. That issue is a whole other issue that is stupid beyond belief. He's a state of Ohio employee who made multiple millions of dollars while at OSU. I have zero sympathy for him. It's meaningless. Football will go on at OSU. That's division 1 football in America. Pretty much all of them cheat (head coaches). He lied and cheated and it went too far. Big deal. He was dirty ay Youngstown State and was dirty at Ohio State. His coaching brethren will all come to defend and feel sorry for him and the cycle will continue. He was a great actor as was Holtz presenting their image which is all phony beyond comprehension. I'm glad to see it in all honesty. This needs to happen to more of these coaches.
(and seriously, a guy who got as rich as he did as an employee of the state is so far from being "screwed" it is laughable that anyone can even make that statement. No Jim Tressel made out like a bandit.)

![]() I don't hate Jim Tressel. He's a great football coach who did what he had to do to win. That's it. He is like pretty much every coach who coaches at these mega programs, no better, no worse, but in all liklihood better than most. Mack Brown and Jim Grobe got paid a million per win last year. Tressel was a bargain compared to them!! But Tressel got paid 20 to 30 million by the state of Ohio the last 10 or so years. Tressel sold his soul to win games at OSU. But so do 98 percent of D1 coaches in America. We need not feel sorry for him or think he got a bad deal or anything. It is what it is. And that's it.

![]() I still say the best of all time was Lou Holtz. You talk about leaving a trail of destruction everywhere he went along with pulling a Petrino in the NFL, yet he maintained and still maintains his schtick to a T and is still pulling in millions. That guy makes Tressel look like a rank amateur.

![]() No chance. I went to school there and saw the parking lot at football practice! My guess is he knew absolutely nothing about it! I'm pretty sure there was at least 1 rich alumni booster at PSU! I'm sure there was a chance Joe knew nothing about anything at the time, sort of like Tressel at Youngstown St and again at OSU.
