What's the point? I actually find a number of women in politics attractive but that has nothing to do with ability, I think it's overly simplistic to think women hate Sarah because of her looks...hopefully they don't hate her at all but see through her act to appear remotely qualified to be President. I admit that I partake in laughing at many of her soundbites, but not because I feel compelled to hate her...actually, I respect her for voicing her opinions, I just think she lacks the background and common sense for the office. I am uncomfortable when threads such as this turn to mocking and reliance on perceptions of beauty to determine someone's worth....I apologize if I've come off that way and will stick to issues in the future.

i have an issue with palin; her lack of intelligence and ability. i have an issue with the media giving her so much attention because i think they do so because of her appearance. i think it's that quality that brings so much attention. she's the danica patrick of politics. i don't resent either of them, but i find it funny that they get the attention because they look nice, while those with ability are rarely mentioned. picture headlines about racing:

Her boss has publicly said she's "stupid". FOX has backed out of having her do any more specials. That TV gravy train is over, they've tired of her.

when i read 'the glorious cause' i don't recall that revere's ride was explained quite like that. then again...revere didn't get much press til longfellow's poem. she is an idiot. but the scary thought is that people would vote for her. there's a guy where i work who will vote for whomever gets the republican nod-he hates obama. thinks that any republican would be better. so yeah, he voted for mccain/palin.
