Thoroughbred on PBS
I watched it this afternoon and thought it was done pretty well. Some one, (I think Artur Hancock) made comment about the transition from breeding to race versus breeding to sell as all the family breeders left the business in the late 70s - Early 80s and commented that was the last time there was a Triple Crown winner. Kind of made sense to me, I know its not the only reason, but I would think that it is a major factor.
Just wondering what some of you folks thought. As an aside there was a cameo appearance of our very own steve Byk, just don't blink or you may miss it. Below is a link to description of the show. Thoroughbred
