Default Anyone notice Equibase....

...changed their website.....as a guy who managed industry websites at Churchill Downs, I can't say that I'm real impressed by the functionality, layout and cosmetic design of the new website.....of course, the old site was pretty vanilla too....I guess it serves its purpose, but the lime green is hidious

Once they started saving everything .pdf, I knew my data days were gone. It all fit so nicely into excel and then they had to go and ruin my easy fun. No one in their right mind is going to put all those numbers in separately.

You can still do this.. All you need to do is extract the text from the pdf file first.. use a program called Able2Extract which will convert it either to straight text or html.. from there you can import it into excel.

check it out on their site: http://www.investintech.com/able2extract.html

I'm sure there's a free trial on there to see if it works for you.. there also might be a free version somewhere out there.

Who have I bashed?...Leave it up to somebody trying to attempt to be the horse racing industry deputy? What, I'm not allowed to give a professional opinion on something relevent to the interest of everybody on this board and something I have a background and knowledge base in?

Wow...maybe you need to continue to play it conseravtive and make your 2 posts per week.....I wasn't knocking anybody...I was raising an industry topic on an industry chat board?...What a concept, huh?

You obviously are the typical bitter player in the industry who comes on here to police what people are saying....I don't hide behind a phony screen name like you do, Kingpin...I am very comfortable with being open to people in this industry and letting them know my position on issues...If you are Mr. Old Business / Mr. Conservative, your kind is soon to be obsolete in this game....

I have nothing to hide and I'm an honest and truthful and blunt person - if you or anyone else doesn't like it or believes that I am "always bashing" than I am glad not to be like the people in the industry that are typical....

Fittingly, it is that backdoor, old-fashioned mentality that has caused MOST of the deffieciencies we currently have in this game.....

You need to reread that post before you jump to the conclusion that I am bashing Equibase or anyone else.....

I miss the HTML Equibase charts, too, pgardn.

I googled Able2Extract. It sells for $90. There's a free trial offer, too.
