Hopefully someone catches Ernest L. Smith with a net and puts him in a strait jacket while he's saddling this horse in the 2nd at Saratoga on Travers day.

He's an owner-trainer with a PA Bred $1,700 yearling buy who has been defeated by 40+ lengths in two career tries at Suffolk. Both times earning Beyers of -0.

I expect he'll be trading at 1,500-to-1 odds in the exchanges tomorrow. I have no problem at all with him running -- but that kind of spot placement isn't good for the ole win percentage.

You all excited for the Mott Indian Charlie debuter tomorrow?

I assume the Street Cry/Sand Springs is supposed to win race #2 ... that's like 10 furlong breeding right there and there are a couple of REAL expensive RNA's from 2yo sales in that race ... I just didn't think any of them looked anything like future debut winners at Saratoga to me. They weren't quick and they were blinkered.

Fairly weak family, but that's nothing new. Doubt it will do much in its debut anyways.

Pletcher keeps entering and scratching a 2yo IC filly that looks interesting.

The Zito RNA'd for like 775K -- and nice last work. He typically debuts his good ones at the SAR meet on days like Whitney day and Travers day. I just didn't think the horse was that quick.

the price is probably indicative of the fact that you kinda know what you're buying when you purchase sons of Unbridled Song. The 5 career starts that you might possibly get needs to factor into it.

I'm thinking Kimmel's Unbridled's Song hated the Polytrack.

For that horse to be as low as 2-1 at one point into the teeth of the Repole/Pletcher steam really said something.
