Default HRTV's Limited Access Draws Board Action

Yeah, like TVG will actually go full out to show another company's track live.

It was still a "Magna" track even when Oak Tree was running the meeting, just they determined the broadcast function.

The more racing coverage on the biggest levels, the better. In So Cal, TVG shows almost every race live and many are covered with on-track broadcasts.

Does this mean that HRTV will be showing up on Direct-TV finally?

I don't know how this stuff works but I wonder if this limited access thing will somehow make HRTV scramble to get onto TV providers other than satellite TV.

Does anybody know?

I clicked on the link and actually read the article. It appears the answer to your first question is no.

The board took the action after learning that plans to launch The Stronach Group's HRTV network as part of a new sports package on satellite provider DIRECTV had fallen through.
