Default Gander/GPK

I can't believe what I'm hearing.

They are starting to condition for Golf now. My child's current school has a Golf Coach that tells there players to show up at the school at 5:30am for 2 mile runs and what else.

Its a large school though. Heck my conditioning came through Basketball every year. My last true conditioning was my senior year in basketball. That lasted for me until my Senior year at UE when I quit playing for the team. But what I'm hearing was un-heard of except for practicing on the course itself or the driving range.

A new trend starting? Follow the Tiger?

I have never heard of 2 mile runs for golf. Yikes, when I was in the worst shape of my life I was playing the best golf of my life. Then when I started running 19 min 5K's, I couldnt break 80 to save my life!
All I can say is Tim Herron and Phil Mickelson. Always at the top of leadeboards in big tournaments.
