Default My New England Patriots

This is hard for a guy like me to admit, but we cant win a Super Bowl this year. We have no vertical threat, we cant stretch the field. Its pathetic. Maybe we will go 11-5 or 12-4 but it wont matter come playoff time. It sucks, it really does. The only thing we have going for us is that we are still better then the Jets.

Anyone who follows football knows every word I said is true. Pats are good still the record speaks for its self. We have nothing vertical though, NOTHING. As for the Jets 1-0 us this year, so whats wrong with me saying we are better then them?

Was this whole thread a reverse mush attempt?

They did just fine last year with no "vertical threat". They are like fourth in the league in passing. They score just under 30 points per game. If there is a flaw in the offense, its that they don't run the ball consistently.

The real problem is with the defense. The pass rush isn't good enough to mask that mediocre secondary. They are last in the league against the pass.

All of those draft picks and the results are truly underwhelming.

You're back on your game, Dahler.

Too bad about K-State, but oh well.

There's always next decade.

This will be the Ravens year to reach the Super Bowl. They throw in the occasional egg, but they roll up the good teams. They blast the good teams. I mean this really has to be the year for them. Go through the schedule.... They destroy Pittsburgh week 1 then lay a total egg vs an OK at best Titans team. Who cares about them crushing St. Louis, everyone does. After that they crush the Jets and Texans. These games are not even close. Another egg on Monday night football against the Jags. Then another egg vs the Cardinals but they still win. Then tonight, tonight baby.... The night Joe Flacco mans up finally. The night he turns the corner in his career. They go into Pittsburgh, a Pittsburgh team who was starting to roll and win like that. I have always respected this team. You can call them my second favorite team. I have never said that my Patriots cant beat them, and this year my Patriots cant beat them. Look at the remaining schedule. No worse then 6-2.Joey S believes in Joey Ice.
