Default Trickmeister

I don't know if anyone caught the race today but Trickmeister defeated Stay Thirsty in the Vanlandingham at Belmont. He flirted with the track record for 8.5f, going 1:39.86. Trickmeister won by 1 3/4 lengths but I was more impressed with Stay Thirsty's return off the six-month layoff and giving the winner six pounds.

I thought Stay Thirsty ran pretty crappy. Also had a hard time running straight, lugging in and out. I look forward to playing against in the Suburban. If he makes it.

I don't know, Thirsty ran ok. His first start after a six-month layoff giving the winner 6 lbs who ran .48 seconds off the track record. Wouldn't write him off just yet.

ETA: Just read Trickmeister got a 100 Beyer, and Thirsty a 97.
