![]() Wow has there service deteriorated. On thursday w/ the big carryover Steven Crist had the results and the future payoffs up before the NYRA video even had the horses in the gate.
try to make a bet and if there is an entry involved, hope none are scratched cause its gonna take ten minutes to get a p-4 or p-6 in. they change your bet and leave horses off completely and then take ninety or seconds to recycle. thursday I got impatient and hit the confirm button more than once because it was taking so long with no reaction and they put the bet through twice. THIS IS THE COMFIRM BET button. especially w/ the state up NYRA ass for everything, what the $%^& are they doing letting (i forget who really runs NYRA1 and 2 as an operator) run such a shoddy operation. The video is great the betting platform is piss poor. NYRA has nothing to do w/ NYRA1 , which is the stupidest thing of all. NYRA pays someone to run there own OTB MTP at belmont moving from 20 to 3 in one flash thursday was the worst example as I said the results w/payoffs were on Crists blog before the horse were loaded on the NYRA feed, but also the future payoffs where available on the Nyra1 site before they showed the race. Whoever is in charge of NYRA's contract w/ there internet outsource, isn't that the ugliest word, politically and personally......better find out what the hell is going on. As I said the video is acceptable and has bet but the betting platform is crap. DSL, before you ask |

![]() Got no idea what he's talking about. The whole ADW design is in house. Sounds like his internet connection is crap to me.

![]() Guys,
Be easy him, as I too noticed some funky technical issues with nyra1 and nyra2 last weekend. On the confirm button in nyra2, it does not stay stationary on the screen...it kind of floats across the screen making it next to impossible to hit the confirm button dead on. I couldn't get the confirm button to work so I had to switch back to the nyra1 account platform to get my bet in! ![]()

![]() I think some of you people don't have very good equipment. I have never experienced a moving confirm button. The screen warns you that once you hit confirm wait until it says wager accepted before placing any other wagers. If you hit it again before that it will place the bet again so you have to be patient. I understand that reading can be hard for some, but really.
Not every computer will automatically update your board so you have to refresh on occasion to ensure that you have real time MTP and odds. I have never experienced a problem regarding an entry. On very rare occasions I do have a horse checked to be on a ticket which does not appear on the ticket when I hit the wager button. Usually I unclick it and reclick it and it solves the problem. It is rare when the site does not show will pays, though, last weekend they did not show will pays for the pk4 and pk6, but the track feed was having the same problem which likely means it was unrelated to the website. The only time I experience real problems with the website is on major race days, it can be incredibly slow and difficult to place wagers. However, I do not believe this is unique to NYRA and other sites have been much worse as others have posted on those days. The one annoying thing I do experience is that often when I am playing out of town races the odds do not update from the ML odds and the will pays and probables are blank which is something they should correct, but then again, I can get the information by clicking on the video feed from that track. I also think they should allow you to cancel wagers before a race starts, particularly when there are scratches. Conditional betting would be a nice addition as well. Overall, the website works very well and better than any other platform I have used. |

![]() you have never placed a P-4 or P-6 that should cost X amount and when it comes up it is half that or 2/3rds because part of your bet is missing and you have to re enter it once or perhaps twice, particularly if part of any entry is scratched and because of the recycle time your out.
as to do not place any other bets until confirmed, i believe that is "completely different bets", there is no reference to not hitting the confirm button more than once |

![]() as for my command of the language, i was speaking to those who use NYRA1 or 2 and have had the same problem. I tried to make my post as short as possible and still explain my concerns.
If your not a NYRA1/2 customer this doesn't concern you, many times, often times when betting a long string, xyz-xyz-xyz-xyz and when the bet comes through as xyz-x-xyz-xyz and the only reason you know is because the bet only cost 27 instead of 108. You cannot recycle the page or you start from the beginning, so you need to wait for NYRA's outsource company to recycle on its own 60-90 seconds. A lot of the time it involves scratched halves of entries but definitely not always. I hope this clears up my use of language, as I was using racetrack parlance which is my mistake. |

![]() NYRA has nothing to do w/ NYRA1 or 2 except for the fact that they license there name and take a cut of the profit that is bigger than if they just allowed another or the same ADW to take there product. But because the HOME ADW. not only gets bets from nyra but also churchill, buffalo, mohawk, woodbine, ft erie, FL etc..........do your own math. There really aren't that many ADW parent companies, less than you've got fingers
