Default Some Common Sense Please?

The Government needs to make the same sacrifices it’s asking of its people and its people are making.

A taxpayer who is deeply in debt coupled with hours/pay cut is not going to start randomly doing home improvement projects, building backyard paths to nowhere, resurfacing the driveway, giving away money to neighbors, some who are less than friendly, spending money like a drunk sailor so others have jobs etc etc etc.

The government needs to do the same. Pay back the debt then worry about needless improvements and bridges and rails to nowhere.

Brings to mind the story

A bust out gambler goes into the barber and asks for $20 bucks to make a bet.

The barber responds, “You already owe me $10”.

The bust out counters, “Well if you don’t give me the twenty I can’t give you the $10 back”

Surprising how much the story holds up when you substitute Government for the bust out and tax payer for the barber.

The taxpayers paid for the roads, bridges etc. The bust out's have done nothing but mooch, and some for generation after generation.

Party's over time to turn on the lights and start cleaning up.

Nothing in this world is free and some need to grow up and learn that!
