Sherman Hemsley Dead.
Sherman Hemsley, known for his starring role on "The Jeffersons," has died at age 74.
Remember him as Archie Bunkers's neighbor...that role lead to the Jeffersons...funny guy...RIP.. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/0...n_1699590.html

Saw him in the musical "PURLIE" on Broadway as 'Gitlow' with Cleavon Little and Melba Moore. He was fabulous.

Archie Bunker was one of the best TV characters ever. |
