![]() They 100% are not better then Miami. They are maybe as good as OKC, thats a big MAYBE. If Bostons 2 young bigs provide anything, they might not be better then them either.

![]() No shot. Kobe, Artest and Nash are still old. Will they get younger? Gasol is still soft and getting old. Howard is coming off a serious back injury.... Plus rumor is he is 1 and done with his eye on Brooklyn.

They aren't going to win 70, but they weren't that far off OKC in the playoffs this season. They upgraded at PG, signed a solid role player in Antawn Jamison and upgraded defensively with Howard. Who cares if Gasol is soft? I think Bynum is a fantastic talent, but he can be a liability at defense. Not to mention he has a history of injuries. So they roll the dice with Howard because they realize Kobe has maybe 3 years left. I've always kind of thought Howard was overrated, but he should fit well with Nash. Maybe Kobe can light a fire under Howard and get him to stop being a clown and focus more. I think they will be an improved team from last year. If that is the case and OKC doesn't get better I don't think there is THAT much separating the two teams. OKC is very, very good. But the Lakers additions made the gap that smaller between them. |
