Default Veterans Retraining Assistance Program

Nice to see they are passing a worthwhile program for a change, instead of giving themselves a raise again...

Congress passed, and the President has signed into law, the VOW to Hire Heroes Act of 2011. Included in this new law is the Veterans Retraining Assistance Program (VRAP). VRAP offers up to 12 months of training assistance to unemployed Veterans

First Lady and Jill Biden have worked tirelessly to give attention and further opportunity to veterans returning from the middle east. Lots of great new programs for them. All good, they certainly deserve more than they've been receiving

Nice to see Dems rebound from

'I loathe the military' Bill Clinton

to finally backing the military or at least military vets.

Dems still want defense spending cut in half

They are also detaining veterans and holding them for mental evaluations, taking their guns, etc.

So whatever. Those who research see through the BULLS.HIT that most of you continue to fall for.

And you want to increase it, cut taxes and then wonder why the debt increases.

No let us increase unemployment benefits to 5 yrs, keep gov. pensions the same or even increase them, build roads and rail to nowhere, hire more police firemen etc. and see how that works.

Then hope and pray (forget that) we don't get attacked, Israel be f'd. As long as our's are fat and lazy it's all good!

As far as the first part goes, why do you post something that was never suggested in my response to you and is against everything I stand for?

THe second part is Nascaresque and I'll pass as I think you may be celebrating a long weekend . Read it when you are sober and you'll probably agree with me.

We're only attacked because it is allowed to happen. Go back to Pearl Harbor and look at what we were doing in the Japanese ports.

Tired of the fear mongering. We instigate every country on Earth. Look how many bases are overseas.

Wake up.

we already spend so much money on defense, and there are people still advocating spending more. it's absolutely absurd and ridiculous. we need to scale way back on defense, and quit acting like we need to be everywhere, all the time, and stop thinking that every damn occurrence overseas has something, anything to do with america. it's asinine.

So whatever. Those who research see through the BULLS.HIT that most of you continue to fall for.
Is that a bad thing, taking the guns of someone that may have mental problems?...and what do you mean by detaining them? are they pulling them off the streets like the Gestapo?...or treating them at a VA hospital?

Where was your research, Orielly or Rush?...and what is the bullschit that
most of you continue to fall for.
In other words WTF are you talking about? I thought the subject of the thread was a good thing...I was wrong once before..

Hit news on the side. Do a simple keyword search.

saw this article

http://hosted2.ap.org/APDEFAULT/cae6...596760ee9d8e90

and thought of this thread. points to what i was saying about us (well, some of us) wanting to include every part of the sphere we live on into our sphere of influence. ridiculous. we are becoming what we fought against. this thing that thinks it can rule the world.
