GOP Party platform approved
Welcome to the Political Party of the 18th century! Especially for you gals ...
... or maybe it's just a fascist right-wing takeover of government. Or a theocracy. Or both. Well, voters will certainly have some choices this fall. GOP Party platform approved today includes: Anti-gay marriage, via constitutional amendment. Ban all abortions, even in cases of rape or incest. Eliminate Medicare, replace with "coupons" good for partial payment of insurance person will have to purchase in the private market. Eliminate Medicare for those with larger incomes. Elimination of current consumer protections from insurance companies, reopening the "donut hole" and increasing Medicare drug costs. Eliminate federal Medicaid. No federal spending to help create jobs. Taxation is called "redistribution of income" Eliminate taxes on interest, dividends and capital gains completely. Opposes any and all gun control, especially control on any limiting of large-round magazines or clips. Make oil and coal primary and major US energy source, approve drilling in ANWR and out continental shelf. Oppose all immigration amnesty whatsoever. Make English official language. Fully support and enlarge our Defense capabilities.
