Default Dem convention starts tonight

Opening night: First Lady Michelle Obama speaks.

And, the video that has caused some of the right-wing to go rabid crazy with anger today (what can I say, it's completely weird what sets them off)

Very little sets them off on their quest for the Obama grail..

Listened to Neal Boortz about 5 mins today...was making a case, a strong case on how well off poor people are, mostly compared to people in Europe.
The have their 40" flat screen tvs, dvd, vcrs, video games,washer/dryers, medicaid, free health stuff, food stamps and a caddy parked out front..-disclosure, i added the caddy from the 60's....Shoot i tried to call him and ask 'where do i sign up'..

Yes, we should be proud of our President and his failed policies for racking up the all time high in food stamp users in this country's history.

This convention should be fun!

all time high gas prices, debt, deficit etc. etc. etc.

Should be a good one and hopefully the first lady demands the pay her husband says she deserves, as first lady!

BTW if taxpayers built it and the top 50% of taxpayers paid for 95% of it. But let this idiot in chief pander to the lower 50% in 'HOPE' the lie will continue.

Why mention such things when you can manipulate statistics, tell outright lies that the faithful believe and throw out promises without any concern as to how they will be paid or if they are even possible to implement?

Such tactics worked four years ago and idiots believed it then, why not now?

Gas prices will drop 25c by the end of the month... you heard it here first.

Other stuff will go away after Obama's 8th year..

What's so cute is the Obama dissenters won't address how Mitt Romney is going to create jobs...actually get the banks to take orders instead of give them.

It. Doesn't. Matter.

You're getting heated for no good reason. Just like people would get heated over Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant back in the day.

It's a show.

how dare you mention that mope Hulk Hogan in the same sentence as the 8th wonder of the World, the late, great Andre The Giant. Andre The Giant has a posse, and we're still around.

The biggest turd layer of this convention so far? MARTIN O'TAXEY of Maryland.

You've never seen a bigger blood sucker, lover of over taxation of everyone, than Martin O'Malley, Maryland's finest.

He screwed up the slots issue.

He taxes me an extra $60 per year because I have a septic tank. Claims it drains into the Chesapeake. I'm 40 miles from the Bay.... He raised the alcohol tax 3% last year just because I drink beer. He jacked the sales tax 1% on everything, just because he could.

And, thanks to Marty, MD state law now says anyone making $100k is rich and must pay a higher tax rate than others - all done at 2am in a special session when no can debate or object. What a leader!! Just like the guy who appoints czars.....

This piece of crap is our worst enemy and we've only got 4 years left to stop him.........

Never heard of the bloke...a quick check and found some good things.

That's pretty good stuff eh..

My hat is off to the Dems, their speakers kicked ass last night, from the undercard of Cory Booker through Patrick Duval (outstanding!) on up to the First Lady (stellar!)

The contrast with the Republican meme of anger, fear and 1700's social programs - Bush Redux with less freedom - is marked and obvious.

Tonight: Bill Clinton.

The Democratic tent has plenty of room for this lifetime Eisenhower Republican. We fit very nicely.
