Default The DNC doesn't know what democracy means

Check this out if you haven’t seen it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTc5rhkoy7s

The Democrats were to change their platform yesterday, and the chairperson pointed out that a 2/3 majority was needed.

He took a voice vote 3 times and then announced, “In the opinion of the chair, the ayes have it.”

With a simple majority, you could likely call it either way if it sounds close. But for 2/3, there had better be an audible volume difference in the voice vote.

I’d love to see a decibel meter on this. The important part is that if a vote is not counted, if the objective criterion for the decision is not followed, then the result is arbitrary and not a vote at all – tyranny.

It will be funny to see the liberal condescension that ensues in defense of this practice.

Following the purposeful omission of God and Jerusalem in all speeches the night before, as part of the Stalinesque democratic platform; the catholic host for the convention as hard as he might executing the classic flip-flop, could not get a 2/3rds (actually couldn’t even get a simple majority) of democratic delegates to go along and amend the democratic platform to include God and accept Jerusalem as the Capitol of Israel. So he undemocratically acknowledged the false affirmation of the delegates despite, actually in spite of their nays. Iran, the muslim brotherhood, palestine and al qaeda must all be smiling this morning.

I do applaud the Dems who nayed and booed in NC for at least being honest and showing their true colors as godless anti-Semites and affirming my decision to support anyone but them!

I would suggest the President wear his cup tonight as he straddles the hypocrisy fence once again. I will applaud him if he will simply come out of the closet and admit he’s been a nay all along as well. Bring back Rev. Wright for one of his radical, racial anything but religion rants and close with a bang. Maybe even bring out Auntie Obama and tell her to her face, “I don’t know you and don’t want to know you biatch.” Then look into the camera and say “that’s what I think about family, suckers!”

Google 'How an alternator works to charge a battery' and you may be able to say no to the drugs.

Default The RNC doesn't know what democracy means

Oh, my ... "who" doesn't know what democracy means?

Let's ignore the Republican Party breaking their own delegate rules repeatedly to deny Ron Paul delegates their rightful voice based upon primary results.

The Democrats removed, then at the request of that "Muslim Communist Kenyan" President Obama, reinserted the words "god-given" in their party platform (this was a line in the 2008 platform)

So, thank President Obama for "standing up for God", Dell and Joey. You're welcome.

Quote:
“We need a government that… gives everyone willing to work hard the chance to make the most of their God-given potential.”
What if, instead, the Democrats had inserted a party plank avowing a fear and a fight against Catholic canon? What about if that Democratic party plank was against Judiasm? That would be pretty outrageous, right?

I mean, this is a country founded upon religious freedom, right?

So let's look at the Republican party and their plank, Dell and Joey. The Republicans have added a plank in this 2012 party platform against the non-existent threat of "Sharia Law" in this country.

Yes, that's right - the Republican Party of the United States has a party plank insulting the religious freedom of millions of Muslim Americans under the false flag of "sharia law! be afraid"

You see, this is how the loss of religious freedom starts: a bunch of haters - read the GOP - codifying their hate in politics, then government.

I'll let Congressman Keith Ellison, a Muslim, describe the Republican Party as he did this morning in The Hill:

Quote:
Rep. Ellison: GOP 'basically a bigoted party'
By Justin Sink - 09/06/12 08:40 AM ET

Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) blasted Republicans for including a plank in their convention platform targeting Shariah law in an interview with Mother Jones Wednesday, blasting the language as "an expression of bigotry."

"There has never been any legislation offered to establish Shariah law — not at the federal level, not at the state level. There's not been a municipal ordinance opposing this, there's not been anything," said Ellison, the nation's first Muslim member of Congress.

The Republican platform included language demanding "no use of foreign law by U.S. courts in interpreting our Constitution and laws."

"Nor should foreign sources of law be used in State courts; adjudication of criminal or civil matters," the platform continues in a section championed by Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who has been outspoken in his concern that the moral code of Islam could be playing a greater role in the American justice system.

Ellison blasted Republicans as "the party of hate" for having "demonstrated hatred towards Muslims" in adopting the language.

Quote:
For Ellison, the anti-Shariah plank was part of a broader narrative of exclusion. "Why do they want to become the party of hate? They're hating on immigrants who are from Latin America. They're demonstrating hatred toward Muslims. They're demonstrating hostility toward women. They act like they don't like gay people. Who is their party supposed to be made up of in 20 years?"

"I'm sad that they have decided to go into this dark ugly place where they see the whole world as their enemy," Ellison continued. "And this is the thing: I don't mind debating taxes and spending; we probably should. But they're the party that is basically a bigoted party and they have now officially declared themselves against a whole segment of the American population, because if we said we were going to put a plank opposing Jewish law, or Catholic canon, it would be an outrage. This is also an outrage. But you know, it'll pass."

Platform language has taken an increasingly prominent role at the conventions, with both political parties accusing the other side of adopting inappropriate language.

Democrats amended their party platform Wednesday afternoon to reinsert language supporting Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, with multiple reports saying the president personally intervened to have the language reinstated after criticism from Republicans. But the floor vote was contentious, with Convention Chairman and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa needing three tries at a voice-vote before declaring in favor of the changes.

Republicans also ripped Democrats from excluding mention of God from their political platform; that language was also reinserted during the floor vote.

Guess if you don't believe in the "right" "God" - or are an atheist, or an agnostic, or a secular Humanist, you're not a real 'Murican? Bah.

you mean the ones who believed in freedom of religion?

"When a religion is good, I conceive it will support itself; and when it does not support itself, and God does not care to support it, so that its professors are obliged to call for the help of the civil power, 'tis a sign, I apprehend, of its being a bad one."

-Ben Franklin

He'd be rolling in his grave alright... just not for the same reason you think, Dell.

does anyone ever feel sorry for the Palestinian people... like the regular ones, women, children, etc... not the hamas..?

I feel like people would label me a terrorist for having sympathy for a large group of human beings who have no home.

The regular ones who threw out candy in celebration of the towers coming down or other regular ones?

Does anyone have sympathy for the women living under sharia law, you know the regular ones who can't go to school, drive, socialize, are beaten and sometimes killed out of some false sense of manly honor?

Yes the stock footage that is replayed over and over.

No different than Al Jazeera going to Mississippi after an earthquake kills 100,000 of the people you have zero sympathy for in any country that doesn't have a majority that look like you.

The easiest trick in the NWO book.
