Default Vegas for 2012 Breeder's Cup

I'm heading to Vegas for BC weekend with a few friends (and spouse's). We are staying at the Flamingo but haven't decided where we will watch the races. Can anyone provide some insight on where the best time could be had? Thanks for the help!!

I was out there for last years BC and it was quite an event. Every book was jam packed early. I went to Lagasse's Stadium book on Friday for the races and it was a great time, very cool room, good food lots of beers etc. Saturday you cannot get in there though since it is college FB season. Hung out at the Wynn and dove in and out for the races/betting on Saturday. They were slammed but it was a good time.

Thanks for the info. Any idea if you can purchase seats in advance at any of the books?

Reservations is all, I have never seen any for sale. Call early and often. We did just walk into Lagasse and waited 15 mins for a couch to open up. Friday only for that one.

I'd get a rental car and drive to Santa Anita.
